The MI-08PRO combines dense accelerator capacity, high-bandwidth host computing, and flexible storage in a 7U rackmount chassis. Its dual LGA4677 platform supports one or two 4th/5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and provides 16 DDR5 RDIMM channels with up to 4 TB of memory, helping data-intensive applications maintain high throughput.

Designed for multi-GPU workloads, the platform accommodates up to eight double-width GPUs. Each CPU provides ten MCIO x8 interfaces carrying PCIe 5.0 x8 signals, enabling a modular high-speed topology for accelerators and expansion devices. The front panel includes eight hot-swappable 2.5-inch drive bays with SATA, SAS, and NVMe tri-mode support, together with an onboard M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and RAID options.

For reliable operation and convenient administration, the MI-08PRO integrates an ASPEED AST2600 BMC with IPMI 2.0, Redfish, SOL, and KVM capabilities. Dedicated IPMI networking, system health monitoring, multiple PWM fan controls, and support for hot-swappable power modules make it well suited to enterprise AI clusters, research environments, and private data centers.
